By improving 94%, reducing to a level of lost workdays below half the industry average, Great Lakes Veneer has demonstrated a dedication to a safe working environment. We are one of only two companies nationwide so recognized. Also in 1998, we were a finalist for the Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Safety, from the Wisconsin Council of Safety and in 1999 we received this award.
