Hardwood Flooring

In the grading of flooring veneer, Great Lakes Veneer utilizes a square method to determine the amount of clear veneer in each piece of veneer. The square method is the use of an imaginary 3" x 3" square to cover defects not allowed in face veneer.

Example: If a sheet of veneer is 47" x 47" and the grade is 95% clear. We would allow 12 - 3" x 3" defects in each sheet maximum.
